Return Policy
A receipt is required for all returns, warranties, refunds, and exchanges. KMS Club members have the option to request a lookup of their purchase history if needed. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment or as store credit. For online orders, customers can initiate a return by contacting [email protected] or by visiting a KMS Tools store.
Most unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 90 days for a full refund. Opened or used items may still be eligible for return or exchange if they fall under the manufacturer’s guarantee policy. However, opened or used items that are not covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee require manager approval before they can be returned or exchanged.
Certain items with defects or issues may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty policy and are not eligible for return or exchange through KMS Tools.
Shipping Orders
For online order returns, KMS Tools will cover the return shipping costs if the return is due to a product defect, issue, or shipping error. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. A return shipping label can be provided, with the shipping cost deducted from the refund amount. Online orders can also be returned in-store.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for a refund but may still be eligible for exchange or repair under the manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty policy.

Personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: fall protection, respirators and filters, masks, gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses.

Testing equipment, including but not limited to: OBDII scanners, moisture meters, circuit testers, stud finders, multimeters, clamp meters, voltage detectors, and infrared thermometers.

Clothing if the tags have been removed.

Special Order items.
-
Gift cards.
-
Lithium-ion batteries.

Torque Wrenches.

Lasers.
Promotional and Free Items
Bonus or free items received as part of a promotion have no cash value and cannot be returned separately or exchanged for items outside of the original promotion. If a return includes a product that originally came with a free or bonus item, the free or bonus item must also be returned. Additionally, bundled or kit items must be returned together as a complete set.
Defective Items & Warranty Service
Some manufacturers offer a satisfaction guarantee on select products, which may extend up to 30 days or longer. If a product is defective or does not meet expectations, it may be eligible for return or exchange within the manufacturer’s guarantee period. Returns must be made within the timeframe specified by the manufacturer. If an item is defective beyond the manufacturer’s guarantee period, customers must contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center for further assistance. KMS Tools operates an authorized service center for select products and brands—customers can contact KMS Tools for more information regarding warranty service.
