Each tool is equipped with a brushless DC motor, with high power to weight-and-size ratio, that generates less heat buildup and is ideal for prolonged use in manufacturing/production functions. The DLX2289SMX includes a 2-speed 1/2" Drill-Driver with all-metal gear construction that delivers 440 in.lbs (50 Nm). of Max Torque and up to 1,900 RPM. The robust compact 1/4" impact driver weighs only 3.6 lbs., yet delivers a full 1,500 in.lbs. (170 Nm) of torque. Both tools are stocked with eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) that offers maximum protection against dust, debris and liquids for optimal performance in extreme conditions. The 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 4.0Ah batteries come with integrated LED battery charge level indicator and offer extended run time versus Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries
